We stayed here for a week. The location was only about 10 minutes from “ the town” . I definitely do not recommended going to the private beach . The walk is super far and the signs say “ watch for snakes”. You would have to drive . Park at a dead end road and then walk over a long old bridge to get to the beach. Just go to a public beach and pay the 14.00 . The ac in the living room was not cool at all and didn’t get below 71 or 72 at night so we stayed in the bed rooms if we were there and they were cold. Thankfully we brought fans. The place had everything to cook . This place needs a make over for sure but it was a ok place for our week. Oh and the mosquitos were horrific , they ended up mowing Wednesday and it didn’t help . But I will have ptsd forever form the swarming of mosquitos .

We enjoyed the roomy and very comfortable condo which came with all the creature comforts for a weekend away from home. The beds were comfy, the day bed area was nice as was the kitchen and patio. The beach access was convenient via car and short boardwalk. Host, Gary, was GREAT!

It was great condo very clean and my family enjoyed it very much. I wish it was closer to the beach, but other than that it was a great location.

We had a great stay, our family loved our little getaway. The condo was very nice and clean! It rained before we got there so the TX mosquitos attacked us in the parking area every time we went to our car. The walk to the beach was further than expected as you have to drive down to the bridge to walk over, wasn’t a problem since we like to park on the beach anyways. Overall, I recommend and we would definitely stay again!

Our host placed us in a different condo than the listing due to issues with the door lock. Upon arrival, there were strange puddles of water in the floors and counter and the A/C was not working. Host claimed ignorance and gave the run around on repairing the a/c issue. The outside temperature was hot and humid and without relief from the climate my family became cranky and sweaty and unable to enjoy the rental. It seems this host likely pulls these hair and switches often to maximize rental occupancy in a run down condominium that has been fixed with band aids too long. The units likely contain mold , as evidenced by the water weeping from the ceiling and floor , from the a/c units inability to properly dehumidify the space over long periods. They were unhelpful and dishonest in correcting the issue in a timely fashion and absolutely were aware of the state of the broken cooling system. I do not recommend staying here.
