The cabin was great and has responsive owner. It was a good place for my family. Couldn't ask for a better place. Cave Run Lake has changed Longbow marina and no longer does rentals so you will have to drive to other marinas for activities that require rentals. This has nothing to do with cabin we rented, it was great but just a heads up. We really enjoyed ourselves!

I would love to comeback in this place, everything is was good.

Expected a very nice and clean stay as I communicated with both hosts. Was made aware that we could check in early as I had asked (did not include that it would NOT be cleaned after the previous guests). Upon arrival, there were rat droppings in every room upstairs and down (pictures to show) and the air conditioning did not work upstairs so it felt like a sauna. One of the couches had duck tape on rips to keep it together and EVERY SINGLE dish had to be cleaned before use due to rat droppings and hair being everywhere. We booked for 2 days and were not allowed a refund so we still stayed the next night because we had no where else to go being 2 hours from home for graduation weekend & only stayed on the first floor because of the heat. Saturday night a mouse runs across the living room floor & we could not find it, then the same thing happens this morning before check out. There needs to be serious maintenance and better communication. 0/10. Used airbnb for years, never had a problem.

A beautiful cabin set in the woods with all the comforts of home.

This property is spacious and comfortable. We had no issues whatsoever and highly recommend for a relaxing place to stay.
