POI Resort Studio Near Everglades NP: Swim + Sail

Our overall summary is that this is a great location, cute unit with nice furniture and comfortable bed, but there needs to be more focus put on cleaning and communication. The online description matches the unit. Modern furniture and the couch was nice to have. We did not receive details for check in or check out, but was able to check in at the hotel. We have stayed at the location in a different unit in the past so knew the basics. We found the cleaning of the unit to need some work. Floors were swept but need a wash. Shower tile needs a good scrub, faucets and light switches need to be washed. We also found lightbulbs out and no battery for the fan remote. Just a note that there is no freezer in the mini fridge. Sent a message 3 days ago but did not yet get a response.

Room shown was still in use when we arrived then substituted for a non upgraded, dirty room. Heavy chemical cleaner smell, floors, kitchen, and bathroom not clean or anywhere near what was shown in listing pictures. Felt like a bait and switch. Emailed Evolve Travel upon checkout, a formal claim initiated by them. 5 days later still no resolution.

1) Internet did not work so we did not have TV2) heat did not work the first night which was cool. But the A/C did. 3) The bedspread was not as nice as pictured. It looked like a camping sleeping bag and did not smell fresh. Also it was too small for the bed4) the floor was not clean … sticky an dirty5) check in was a little hard and when emailed for info regarding internet the first night I never got a response back 6) the bathroom was clean and remodeled as well as the furniture being newer. 7) facility/premises were clean
