Near the Everglades: Studio at Port of the Islands

this is a gorgeous old time Florida feel place on a canal. It is dated and needs some love. Pool is not heated and on site restaurant is not opened as listed. Plan accordingly as you are away from shops. There is a publix about 15-20 minutes away

This was an acceptable place to stay. Not the best property I ever stayed at but also not the worst. Checking in required me to call the host as the code provided was incorrect. However, the host was apologetic and was able to get me the correct code. On the last night of our stay, we returned to see a new lock had been installed and no longer opened with the same code. Called the host who again was apologetic and provided the updated code. Host is very responsive, all things considered. Room was clean. Towels are old and should probably be replaced, pillows are flat and need to be replaced. Shower needs update. Parking is ample. Internet is fast. Property is old but well maintained. Did not use pool but it was clean and well maintained and seemed to be enjoyable. Location is out of the way but that can be a welcome respite from the business/ noise of Naples and Marco. Property allows for a more affordable stay, especially during on season when everything else in town is expensive

Very quiet, adjacent to marina with a nice pool. Staff was very friendly and responsive.
