We’ve stayed at this condo three times now, and unfortunately, this will likely be our last. We’ve always enjoyed the location and have continued coming back, but the condo has noticeably gone downhill with each visit. At this point, it feels very dingy, dark, and overdue for a deep clean and refresh. There was also a strong musty/mold-like smell near the kitchen that made us concerned there may be a water leak or moisture issue. I reached out to the property manager during our stay to make them aware of it but never received a response. The furnishings and finishes throughout the condo also feel pretty worn and inexpensive, and overall the unit just doesn’t feel as well cared for as it should for the price. We also had an ongoing safety issue with the golf cart. One of the rear seatbelts does not work, which meant our two young children couldn’t safely sit together in the back. We actually brought this to their attention after our visit last year, so it was disappointing to find that it still hadn’t been repaired. We’ve made some really fun Catalina memories here over our three stays, which is why it’s disappointing to leave this review. The condo has so much potential and is in a great location — it’s just really due for some attention, a facelift, a thorough cleaning, and a few important repairs.

Great weekend, had fun at the resort, pool and gym were good. Amazing views from the apartment. Close to town easy to get to dinner and attractions.

This was the second time we stayed in Hamilton Bay for another long weekend over a busy time of the summer. The host was responsive and timely with our questions and requests. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful part of Avalon. We fully used the tennis courts, snorkeling off of the private coves private dock, paddle boards all over with our own boards from the cove, jacuzzi, and swam in pool. Fantastic place, area and space with views of bay and BBQed in the evenings on our ‘shared’ balcony partitioned by potted plants. Thank you!

golf cart fuel gauge was not working said empty. Fold out couch living room was broken. Called the rental company. They did not answer or I could not leave a message, later they emailed me, but did nothing to resolve any of the issues.

Amazing view. Property was great. And the owner was extremely quick at responding to anything we needed. Stairs to the property suck, but it’s worth the view!!
