The views were amazing right from the balcony! That alone was worth the money, the golf cart helped make it easy for us to travel everywhere we needed. Loved the place!

Golf cart runs rough.

I would not recommend this property, especially at the price we paid. We spent approximately $2,400 for five nights and expected a clean, comfortable, well-maintained home. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The most serious issue was an ongoing ant infestation. Ants were appearing on supposedly clean kitchen counters and throughout the kitchen, which made it extremely uncomfortable to prepare or eat food. This was not an isolated incident. An exterminator was eventually sent out during our stay, but having to deal with an active pest infestation on vacation significantly impacted our experience. We also encountered dirty silverware and were uncomfortable with the way clean linens were stored in a common laundry area alongside dirty rags on the floor. On top of that, we were informed that the water would be shut off for approximately five hours during our stay. We have stayed at other privately owned units in Hamilton Cove that were much better taken care of than this.

Overall we had a great stay here. Location was beautiful. The condo was nice and clean. It was great having a golf cart to get around in. My biggest complaint is that we paid for 2 beds and the pull out bed was broken and wouldn’t pull out. I contacted the host and they brought over an air mattress but were only willing to refund me $100 which I felt was unacceptable given the price we paid for 2 nights to have half of our party sleep on an air mattress. Really bummed about that.

The apartment was great, the view was spectacular, and the area was very nice, with a private pool, Jacuzzi, and private beach; however, I do think the apartment needs air conditioning. The provided golf cart was a major plus, though it needs maintenance because the fuel gauge doesn't work; furthermore, the cart wasn't clean.
