The Lake Somerville Family Retreat is an ideal location for an Aggie Game Weekend. The home is in a very peaceful neighborhood surrounded by trees and deer and about 35-40 min from Kyle Field. The home is in pristine condition. We had a small issue while there, but the host responded quickly and was eager to help resolve the issue. Overall, the home is perfect! We’d definitely want to stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was cute, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The neighborhood had a fun atmosphere with golf carts and side-by-sides cruising around, and we loved seeing deer roaming throughout the area. The location was excellent, just minutes from Birch Creek Park, which made launching our boat incredibly convenient. It was the perfect home base for spending time on the lake. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent, brand new rental in the area. It is at least 30-40 minutes from a good sized town, but close to Lake Somerville. This house has excellent sleeping accommodations (very comfortable) and a well- apportioned kitchen. We struggled a bit with the wi-fi, given the remoteness of this property, but appreciated all of the TVs and clean, cool environment. And an unexpected plus—and perfectly accessible outlet to the drive way to slow charge my EV!

This was a wonderful stay from start to finish. The home was absolutely gorgeous—beautifully maintained, very comfortable, and exactly as pictured. The location was great, with local restaurants and conveniences only about 20 minutes away, which made getting around very easy. Check-in and check-out were seamless because the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The host was especially kind and responsive when we had a quick question at check-out, which we really appreciated. We truly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book this home again. If we are ever back in the area, this will definitely be our first choice.
