Such an amazing escape! Highly recommend chilling on the porch overlooking the amazing garden and letting life slow down for a while as you take it all in. Marcia is a wonderful host (even gave my mom goodies from her garden) and her beautiful home is spectacular! We highly recommend Up the Creek which is a 2 min drive away, Page Springs Vineyard which is a 5 min drive away, Brewha at the far end towards Cornville, and Clinkscale in Jerome. Book it, you won’t regret it!

My son and I had a wonderful visit to the cottage! It is beautifully decorated in southwest style with all the fixtures and amenities needed. There is a fantastic large front patio that overlooks a garden and mountains in the distance. Also the stars in the dark night sky are spectacular. The location is a bit off the beaten track, just south of Sedona and the Red Rocks area, but we liked that. Check in directions were not up to date, with no mention of a large gate that needs to be manually opened at the end of the drive. It also referenced using a code for the front door lock but that did not exist, and a key was in the door, which made us question whether we were at the right house. That part could have been handled better. Otherwise, wonderful stay and we enjoyed hiking some spectacular trails in Sedona.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It is full of character and handmade details, and larger inside than expected. The extra large front porch is shady and breezy, comfortable even when it was 90 outside. The a/c works wonderfully and has separate controls for living room and bedrooms. It was 15 minutes to hikes, groceries, and Sedona. Gorgeous nature setting. We cook many meals on vacation and the cookware and knifes could use an upgrade, but the grill and induction stove were great. It would be nice if the gate were easier to open and close, as that is a guest responsibility upon coming and going. Very comfortable mattresses and nice furniture. Caretaker, Marcia was very friendly and helpful. Gave lots of good suggestions for nearby activities and responded quickly to texts.

This will be a spectacular rental. For us it was not prepared for a guest stay. What we encountered included : Dirty tables, kitchenware and surfaces, construction going on a round us on site, dishwasher not functioning, needing a "magic trick" to work the laundry and spotty internet to none that last half of our trip. We would have communicated that but there is no cell service on site and neglected to make contact when in town. The owner is on site in home next door. Everyone we encountered was friendly. The hiking path out back to a great view is good but steep. The property looks to be fenced in so we could let our dogs run but the main gate is a cattle guard that our dog could hop in a single bound. To sum up a lot of the things we were expecting for our stay just weren't there. This is a great location and will be a spectacular rental. For us it was a comfortable glamping experience.
