Great house

Very smooth check-in process and clear instructions. The house easily accommodated 16 of us. Plenty of room for parking. The washer broke down while we were there, but our contact was very responsive if unable to get a tech out on the weekend. Plenty of kitchen ware and room to eat. Overall this was a very good value.

Had some problems with the entrance code, the laundry machine was broken and when they came to fix it, it was only good for one wash. The AC was hard to figure out. Overall, not the best stay we've ever had.

It was semi - clean, however the carpet and furniture was terrible looking - being very old, worn and having stains. There was a sign to please remove shoes, but there was no way any of our guests were walking barefoot or with socks even on the carpet. Thankfully most of us brought house shoes. The fridge in the garage was pretty gross - not having been cleaned in quite a while. We had a few additional issues - one being the wash machine didn't work. I contacted the host the morning of the second day of our four day stay. They did have someone come out that afternoon which was a Friday but they couldn't get the part until the next week, so we were unable to wash clothes or towels. I requested a partial refund and was given $50 and a few extra towels. The AC was set on 70 and more than once somehow got up to 90 (it can be controlled remotely) so some guests were sweating throughout the night. Lastly, the queen beds I don't believe were actually beds. They had a memory foam mattress which was about 4-5 inches thick (no boxspring) and then a very hard piece of thick foam that was on top. Many guests complained that they were very uncomfortable and they didn't sleep well. **I will say response times in the host reaching back out were very quick.

Overall, the house was nice and clean, and we enjoyed our stay. The space was well-kept and comfortable. However, communication with the host could be improved, as responses were slower than expected. I would also suggest better quality bedding and providing more sufficient toilet paper for guests. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience.
